Overview
A real-time audiovisual system combining live guitar performance, custom Python-based audio analysis, and reactive visuals created in TouchDesigner.
The system detects note onsets and pitch in real time, translating the musical structure of the performance into reactive visual movement and particle behavior.

Process & System
Real-Time Audio Analysis
Custom Python-based audio analysis was used to process live guitar input and generate reactive control data in real time.
The system detects note onsets and pitch information, transmitting the analyzed data to TouchDesigner via OSC.
Frequency-Based Visual Control
Different audio features were mapped to specific visual behaviors in real time.
Note onsets triggered structural changes in the visuals, while low-frequency guitar input influenced rotational movement and spatial motion.
Real-Time Visual Workflow
The system combines Python-based audio analysis and TouchDesigner instancing workflows within a real-time visual environment.
The visual structure, motion, and particle behavior were continuously updated during the live performance.
Projection-Based Performance Environment
The visuals were designed for projection-based performance environments, translating live guitar performance into reactive spatial visuals in real time.
